Jewelry Tool Lab is a workshop publication about the jewelry bench. We cover the tools, machines and equipment that home jewelers, metalsmiths and small studios actually buy and use — and nothing else. You will not find jewelry fashion, trend coverage or finished-jewelry reviews here.

What we try to answer

Which tool should I buy? Which size, model or configuration do I need? Which specifications matter? Is the expensive version worth it? Do I need this equipment at all? And once it is on the bench: how do I use, maintain and troubleshoot it?
